Outside Leg Trip

Using a clinch position to hook an opponent's leg from outside and off-balance them to the mat.

Instructions

  1. 1From a clinch, control the opponent's upper body with an underhook or collar tie.
  2. 2Step your leg outside theirs, hooking behind their calf or ankle.
  3. 3Push their upper body backward while pulling your hooking leg forward.
  4. 4Off-balance them over your hooking leg as they fall.
  5. 5Follow them down, maintaining top control on the landing.
